Super Cute Alert: Nails Inc.& the Elephant!

Last Friday, we had our Christmas party. Down to office workloads and wound up for activities. My colleague friends also make a “Christmas-Kringles” which suprisingly my “baby” is a closest friend of mine. So I dont have hard times for what gift I would give to her. I mean, she'd have to buy the stuff that we saw in the bazaar we went. Now, I knew what gift could please her. :)Wohoo!

What I bought for her is a floral elephant from a bazaar.

Isn't it cute right?

Our party this year was not better-off than before, but we enjoyed the games that every year was different. Thanks to Tito G who always organizes this event. Our food was very appetizing; hence, I wasn’t able to capture all those delicious food and red wines as well. Oh I love the Conti's Black Velvet Cake! (winks)

I'm sure we’d lessen-out all the tired-works and pressure from the bosses. Hehe...Aand we are agitated to open gifts and giving gifts to others. I had a lot of goodies received, but still, it's better to give than to receive. Skincare and beauty goodies as well as useful things. And the best was …. a nail polish from Sephora that I will try soon. This colleagues friend of mine really knows what I’ve like most, which I fascinated.

diba they're so cute?
I’m weird, cray cray for those little things. LITTLE THINGS on life that counts. What little things that you like most?

Blogging, Is this really for me?

I was in a long hiatus without compassionate with the blogosphere. Who cares? I just have eight readers in my list and less than fifty in circles’. It’s not argumentative since for the first time I made this public memoir for some random chronicles in my life. I admit, nothing more unusual to talk; several products to review, my much-loved for nail polishes and some beauty products, the scheduled Mom 101 every Wednesday also failed as well. So sometimes in my free time of work, I already ask myself, “is blogging is really for me?” I don’t have connection as some famous bloggers has. No time to attend for interesting events that may conflict my full time job.

I may have list of my favorite fashion blogs and lifestyle-mommy bloggers and thinking to be one of them (so ingit am I! ) how the hell they become career mom and a top lifestyle blogger they’d be. I mean, the way they become pro in blogging. Blogs that like infomercials and peppered with links and sponsored everything (without bothering to disclose it) and while the works for them. I like some bloggers who are very honest and lovely things to monetize their blogs. I don’t read blogs that just for the sponsored and bared with all product reviews. I may choose to read the great videos tutorials and gorgeous photos (that some how’s my frustration too!) I know we have our own perspective in blogging. We have our own vision and voice to stay in blogging. I do it-and so do the best on the web and on progressive. Yeah, anyone wants to turn lift up their blog despite of all hard times and doings we stumble.

I look on some bloggers who are deemed in such affiliate links and hosting giveaways (that I also joined in some!)  Writing about stuff from their heart which led me too in my various product posts because audiences come to us FOR our honest reviews, right?. But this blog post is likely a fall short. I had a lot to consider continuing for 2014.

I'm thinking that it’s not really for me, but I feel the sense to continue even though it’s not regular posting. Where I am in this type of communication? Will I pursue with my own? Since I am the QUEEN of this blog?
Okay it does depend on me. I’m blogging for me. Then for my brand, because blogging has lessened my stress and insecurities. It given me another way to grow and reach more lovely people.

I want FOCUS. I want to go back to where my heart is really is which and where I can be me. So here I am at, building another ME to share with you along. Finding balance and joy trumps ALL other things.

Any new bloggers out there that pursue blogging even it goes hard times? Any advice? Share me your power encouragements.:)

Did you already feel the holiday season? From the event yesterday I attended, it was a merely fact that Christmas is on the way. More than anything, kid's eyes lighted up when they see Christmas lantern as well as some colorful and lighted christmas decorations. You want your kid's to be suprised too when they tear open that wrapping paper.
Every year, I am so excited buying gifts especially for the kids (godson and goddaughters) when I am not already the Mrs. Boo.Christmas is for children right? So you already shop for those kids? If I would have my list to buy gifts for kiddos , I would preferred things rather than giving cash. Toys and clothes would be enough for babies, toddlers and big kids. What I got from yesterday event was all clothes for young girls. I don't know if it's fit my little girl or else, I was able to give them to my goddaughter.:)

Upper left to right: Carters polo and Carters Denim Blouse
Lower left to right: Carters Denim jeans, Little Lass Blouse and Little Lass leggings

Usapang Exports: The Workshop and Goodies to Buy!

This was the last day of the Usapang Exports that was started last Monday, 02 December launched by the Department of Trade of Industry under Bureau of Exports and Trade Promotion. As part of the building and the national government itself, I have attended the 4th day class wherein the talk is all about “Increasing Business & Security through Information and Communication Technology”. Some of you may get lost about what am I talking about, To cut the show, it’s all about strategies on how you (Filipino businessmen) exports their goods mostly in Japan, Australia, Europe and other countries that cater some of our items.

so what among these three is your bet? mine's collar necklace like fish skin:)

pearls and other handicrafts from Cebu

collapsible boxes and other native accessories

so this one? isn't it cute? no not that guy, this lantern made of abaca'

From affordable branded kids apparel to accessories, collapsible boxes to christmas native decorations, and some items that you will see or handicrafts by some regions like Cebu. It was such a perfect timing for this season because you will buy them in reasonable prices. There's also food carts that install too. (Not in photos)

What I’ve learned from the talk was a step stoned for a business-minded like me, to be able to cross the path of how you would managed your businees and procedures on how you could export it through abroad. Being a competitive in managing a business is the roots on success internationally. I wish I could pursue my business on apparel and imported fragrance. Wish me luck guys:) Have a great weekend!

It was the top-three most successful televisions shows in Australia and here in the Philippines that airs every day, that’s why Amber really stood up when the gang sing the “Amazing, Wish Upon A Star, Some Kind of Wonderful and the L.O.V.E songs.

Tim, Casey, Lauren, Stevie and Fely would definitely bring joy to children on December 13-15 on SM Aura this year. ( Super lapit sa house) Wohoo! This exhilarating show jam-packed for upbeat songs and dancing to see all the little smiling faces. (and even oldies like me!) hehe

Now, I should get my ticket to SM Tickets outlets located in all SM Cinema ticket booths or for hassle-free, just checking the www.smtickets.com. Tara kita kits tayo sa event!:)

Swatches: Faceshop Nail Polishes

Hello beautiful folks! You probably noticed that I’ve been pause for my nail collection, so for today, I’m going to share you my latest fave in nail polishes! It was given by my boy-friend, when he had trip in Korea, my male best buddy knew me that I simply love nail polishes. So what’s on my snake skin table? A hunt for some decent, reasonably-priced and good quality nail polishes!
I know it was not easy to list brands which I tried and were disappointed in, so I’m just going to share what I love right now? Okay? Let’s proceed?
The brand is none other than-The Faceshop! Almost half of my digits were under of their brand. It was nice that I could get new and latest from the brand since Korea is just near and one of the countries that has a bilateral trade with our country. So some perks of being in the international bureau, noh!?
Anyhow, here are some of my pasalubong..*eyes sparkle*

So here's my new little babies:)

The Face Shop Nail Polishes

I must say I was surprised when I opened the paper bag; I was utterly wanted to use them because I honestly fancy the colors and try the expectations because it was cheaper than I used on my birthday nails.

So let’s begin with the colors:

first color batch I've tried (apology for low quality pixels)

What I love? Colors are opaque, They are not skimpy like some others I tried, the first coat was thick already but I used two coat for this finish. Prices are super affordable at $2.99 per bottle. It was easy to apply, my nail technician loves it because it quite smooth, but a little bit clumpy.

What I don’t like? The smell and the drying rate. It was stinky smell of chemical and took hours to dry. Its brush was too small and narrow.

Okay will post soon the other two colours that I never used. I doubted in the last color (brown) which shades of my skin are. Don’t you think? Have you tried this palette of polishes?

Happy Birthday Mickey & Minnie Mouse!

November is the month where Hello Kitty celebrates her birthday as well as to Disney's most beloved and iconic characters, Mickey Mouse and her best pal, Minnie Mouse! (Kitty please, don't get mad at me, I haven't yet post my birthday wishes to you last November 1, it's still November, right?) So how's old the mouse-couple in the world? It's November 18, 1928 when Walt Dsiney was released, so happy 85 years old Mickey and Minnie Mouse! Thank you for first inspiring us in your Steamboat Willie. And for inspiring my nephews, nieces and vicarious act of my ultimate girl because as the moment she woke up in the morning, she requested to turn the television in Disney Junior. You are the second best from Hello Kitty extremist.:)

Thursday Thrift: MoringaO2 Malunggay Herbal Therapy Oil!

Everybody was looking for an affordable product that can get together its quality. A product that can ultimately used all over the parts of the body yet it won’t hurt our wallet. Its how we valued money and being practical is not means you are frugal in your wellness. Sometimes we had to save for MORE. Just like MoringaO2 Malunggay Herbal Therapy Oil which I brought last weekend . Who would decline to a product that can be used on all over parts of the body?

Malunggay is popular known for nutritional value as well as a herbal medicine. This herbal oil is a blend of pure malunggay oil, olive oil and sunflower seed oil that may be used on the skin, scalp and hair. Only P99 for 30ml that currently using for almost one week, but still full on the vamp.

This product information sounds interesting that’s why I grab for the chance. I’ve also known that malunggay is a good source of anti-oxidants and minerals that well for the skin. Some studies, that malunggay are the vegetable with many health benefits.

I usually use it on my hands, then rub on my legs then applied to my hair before sleep at night. I can testify that it’s not greasy unlike other oils that I tried. I love the therapeutic smell, in fact I love it than my BodyShop Tea Tree Oil. I feel the effective moisturizer after I woke up in the morning.

It was quiet small, that’s why sometimes I brought it in my office to have resistance to frost. You know how cold our temperature in the workplace. I also like the bottle cap which for me is easy to open. I wish it has a bigger size.

Good thing, if you’re a first timer for this inexpensive brand, there’s a built in instructions on how to use, labeled at the back of the packaging. Overall, I highly recommended the MoringaO2 Malunggay Herbal Oil for those who wants a natural all around oil that will nourished the body. There are other oils like argan, green tea, chili oil (that will I blog soon) but malunggay will definitely gives my parents a try since it affordable and easy to see in the drugstore.

Have you use herbal oil? this one?

When you pray, it play.

Almost to the same week as the news about Typhoon Haiyan or better known to us as "Yolanda". Almost everyone has some desolate our fellow citizens directly hitted by the typhoon. Different organizations have provided assistance, bazaar and other generous artists who greatly in kind to help fellowmen devastated by typhoon.
It was also reported that we also obtained from local to national offices including our trade partner countries (USA, Taiwan and other 21 countries) that stands solidarity to our nation that definitely eased our burdens.

when you pray, it plays

I may not provided cash, but I wish all the donation box that stalled in our bureau will help. And as everybody was busy in giving relief goods and medicines for them, I wish the allotted money was contributed fairly and justifiable.

Above all, we still thank God for endless hearings to combat this obstacle. I do believe that Praying is still the key to have resilience after this kind of grieve. Our almighty God will continue to guide us and hoping for that no such accidents that will happen in our country. (Bangon Pilipinas!) Establishing the Philippines!

On Try: New Skincare Additions!

This month, I tried few new brands to my skincare routine. I’m not obsessed with these things but I am a woman.*winks* I’ve been using many brands just to decide what would definitely appreciate with my skin. I am battling with the ideas if its fine for skin but expensive or affordable but couldn’t works.

I am now looking for an eye products that will eliminate my dark circles, as I used calamansi (literally & figuratively!) finally beats me, feeling tired of slicing it and swiping it under my gloomy eyes. This Faceshop Raspberry looked a decent option, I am not young and I need products that may help my skin from aging. Each month I aim to look for something that can provide a healthy glow.

Raspberry Roots Sleeping Mask has a mixture to promote collagen and from the Himalayan which is rich in anti-oxidants so I wanted to try it out. I love how it really smells a raspberry fruit, to think that it has a good source of Vitamin C- intends for several collagen synthesis. I’m not crazy with the ingredients on this, but I like the Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract which reminds me of a natural product, which I‘m also using for spa, will make a post about it. Going back, this gel texture form is not greasy, so it was really intended for sleeping on it the following morning.Even though, I have oily skin, this mask is a quite thin texture so it really feels lightweight. No wonder it’s good for all skin types as its hydrating without feeling greasy.

To use: Spread over face and avoid the lips and eyes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water after you wake up in the morning and feel the porcelain smooth skin.

Raspberry Roots Depuffing Eye Gel is aim to de-puff and soothe swollen eyes. I don’t have any eye bags but I still use it because like what Raspberry Roots intends is to lift and to refresh. I love how the cooling effect after you spread around the eyes. I am not familiar with some of ingredients but few of the ingredients listed like glycerin is not intimidating to use because it was totally a colorless and odorless liquid that widely use in pharmaceutical formulations.

To use: Gently dab onto the upper and lower eyelids. Can be reapplied throughout the day.

Raspberry Roots Collagen Eye Patch- this is my favorite among the set. I love how cool the effect when you applied under each eye. I can feel the patch getting thinner and it evaporated? Absorbed maybe? My under eye was really feel moisturized and more tight as I have lines that invisible.

To use: Use it at PM, Remove the clear film from both sides of the patches and applied under each eye for 30-40 minutes. Remove and Discard.
Luckily, my skin seems to like these set, It could be pricey but I love how my skin attached to them.
Over all, The Raspberry Roots Special Set aims to lifts, tightens ores, and re-contours skin that lacks resilience.

So what are you favorite skincare products? Share your thoughts below:)

Fragrance Friday: Perfumes I Love & Loving Viva La Juicy La Fleur!

I realize that aside from shoes, nail polishes and sort of make up, I wanted to try and collect some perfume. Actually, I have only five perfumes in my closet that I wanted to use over and over again. The first love was the United Colors of Benetton, Hot & Cold, which fades anyway. Followed by Escada Pacific Paradise and Marine Groove and eventually tried the Anne Curtis perfume...Haha (okay diehard fan ako!) Since I started trying them all, I have not looked at others, I don’t know, but  because I believe, every woman in the world has its own taste of smell. Signature scent in other words.:) I have to share and listed these in order from what my least favorites to my new fave. I wish I could just share the smell of these through the computer, we’d be all set.:) *wink*

Hot for her, Cold for him
OMG! I had this in high school and almost loving it till college. It's an oriental fragrance for women and men. First try I've used it, I'm not satisfied, I didn't see those girly fruity scent that I was looking for before. It's more masculine scent because it smelled like cinnamon and spicy. (HOT!) BUT my classmates love it, so I stick to this. Haha. Ang bango ko daw lagi. Yes! It lasted the whole day, even I attending my PE class.:)

Escada Marine Groove
This fragrance has a floral fruity character, so if you want fragrance composed of passionfruit, jasmine and musk, You can include it in your perfume collection, I almost used the half bottle of this Escada Marine Groove, it makes me feel young and girly, and it lasted long in the entire day I stayed in my work. I also try the Pacific Paradise (not in the photo)  It also made of fruity notes and bouquet of flowers. A mixture of lime reminds me of this, with sweetness of candy sugar and cotton candy. Perhaps I like fruity floral and the woody musky base that’s why I wanted to buy it again in 100ml edition.

Anne Curtis Perfume Collection
I actually like and used the Sweetheart scent, because it has a combination of grapefruit, white musk and jasmine. I sprayed it in the morning, and I amazed, it lasted on me the whole day.Fierce and Glamorous edition was never been try but I tested it and I must say it also made of fruity scent that exudes an aura and character of AC.

Now, what I'm smelling like? I got three samples of Viva La Juicy La Fleur.

apology for lost ribbon detached by Amber

This was my perfume presently, and I started to love it. This fruity perfume was ideal for me. I’ll admit it’s one of those perfume that hype from time to time, but I love the hint of berries mixed with subtle floral sweet scent of it. Then the scent becomes warmer with vanilla and amber hints. (So another Amber was destined to me!?) I guess I could still use it until summerJ And the major strong point on these all, it lasts all day long! I realize, if I choose perfume, (1) it floral-fruity scent (2) it long-lasted (3) pocket friendly and “anytime” scent.

I absolutely love fruity smelling perfumes, Isn't it? What's yours? Share me your scented thoughts!

Thursday Talk: On Finding Happiness At Work!

We are humans, and we feel every emotion in every aspect of our life. My colleague friend once asked me how I would tell the definition of “happiness”, maybe he was stressed in work, or some things bothered him. Happiness is a huge noun to defined, I blurted. You perhaps, unhappy with your work, but blessed with your family and friends. It’s up to you, how to maintain harmony in work and life. That’s what I always bear in mind, because it’s just the state of mind. *WINKS* While it’s true that the work we do, (especially parents) helps us to put food on the table, it’s also one of the biggest sources of unhappiness and stress in our life. So if you are experiencing lethargic, displeasure or any pessimistic in your job, you have change your ways by how we look at on things. Admittedly, I also in that chaos, that’s why I read some, an article that, would help me to wake up each morning, to work hard and not waiting for the day to be over. Hahaha. Kind of self- motivated. I’ll share with you guys, just explore and embrace it!
Several outlines that I adapted to Mr. Rao who has in his best-selling book.

Things would be Good nor Bad
There are things that can happen in the office for eight hours of stay, neither good nor bad. If it’s not according to your plans, or if we commit mistakes/errors/ or submitted papers that rejected by the boss, Do it again, with calm and peace. (Okay, I’ll do it na!) I agree that when you start saying bad things at work, your mind associates it with negative feelings. Ayun na! Tuloy-Tuloy na! So as much as possible, look at things in the neutral so that you do not create unnecessary vicious cycles during the day. So, hindi na tayo tatamarin pumasok the following day! :)

That's me!, stress ako nung araw na yan, so one of the meditation I have is listening to the music:)

Knowing the Value of Practicing “Extreme Resilience”
Remember my entry, at ready for anything?  Being flexible is doing great things. Let us avoid spending so much time in needless, fruitless self-recrimination and blaming others. There is no need to practice resilience if we follow rule # one. So it’s another state of mind!? Isn’t it!?

Throw Away Grudges and Spend Less Time Feeling Jealous
“Okay I’m not bitter, I just wanted justification and equality” exclaimed by another colleague friend. So one was promoted despite of lack of accomplishments, character and preferential by the boss. (That’s the main issue!) So let’s try to let go grudges-as this is primary component of finding happiness at work. That jealousy is a negative emotion that has no place at work. “Maybe it’s your turn to heads up” who knows. Instead, be happy, because whatever happened to him will happen to you in your current job or another company.

#entry for #throwbackthursday :)

Find YOUR Inner Passion
I know a lot of employed make mistake of finding passion at work, including me. It easy to think about what we feel should be an ideal job for us and we often lose ourselves in thinking of a perfect workplace scenario. The author said that we should spend time in changing the way we look at our present job, instead of searching for that “something perfect” or even believing it exists. In my own note, if you don’t feel the happiness in work, then leave it, but of course be ready to face another adjustment on what work has been waiting for you.

Think of “Then and Now” But Forget About “If and Then”
These scenario is usually happen at the back of my mind when I and my friends talking about resignation. If you think you’re not happy presently at your work, then jumped to another opportunity, then if you’re not satisfied again, you’ll leave and find another job, and so on..THEN, Rao told “so much of what troubles you today will also vanishA very simple yet powerful way of looking at things in a different perspective. We think that IF we have this and that, THEN we’ll be happy. Sometimes, we equating are happiness based on monetary value. I remember tmy former client who was I met at Ayala, I asked him if he still works at leading BPO company, but then he said, he was not happy because of all the loads tasks him , (but big salaries. ) Now, he is in the company which not quite as big salary, but he found the happiness he’s been looking for. I get the point but I still believe, you will find a job where the two aspects are both provided.

Finding happiness at work allows us to rise above trivial and mundane things that cloud our vision and impair our ability to look at the bright side. As I read to a book, there always a silver lining in every negative situation you have. *winks*  The tips above barely scratch the surface but they should be enough to help change our perspective and ultimately lead us into discovering more things to keep us happy at/with work. Thanks for knowing this great author and I hope it also helped others to find the happiness at work.:)

P.S
I know it’s not Tuesday to give my tips but I’m planning to have another converse which is Thursday talk, because every lunch with my colleague friends, there are things/agenda we found interested. From expensive bags, showbiz chismis, issues in our country including other countries because of we scope in international trades, we also include the personal life of each one that would reflect to other people as well as the readers of this blog.

Tuesday Tip: Perfect Blush Color for Your Skin Tone

I am always bit scared of blush; how to apply it without looking like a clown, or do we really need it? As we already knew on how to applyblushes according to our face? It is also important to know the perfect blush shade that suit to your skin tone. So today, as I’d like to prove that I did my make up well. Now, make up gurus and beauty artist entitled to judge me. Haha. I am ready for critics.
But before your assessments, please let me share the article I read about finding the blush shade that will match to your skin color.

I think Amber was really destined to me:)

For fair skin (obviously, that’s not me!) Peachy blushes look amazing, since it is in the “warm” color family. Complexions with cool, yellow undertones look best in soft pinks.
For Medium skin, (I think this was my family!) Deep golden shade was best for a subtle day and Vibrant rose gold or apricot blush for night.

For dark skin - They said, Plum colors will pop against to your skin, and if we dare, bright fuchsia would look great to you. Isn’t too vibrant? I don’t think so, I don’t even try that. I am opting for bronze rather than blush eh. But in some case, I love peach/brownish shades.

A little bit harder to do, especially for days I don’t want to wear make up, but need a little perk-me-up.
So what do you think of my look? What blush colors do you use? Any suggestion to switch up?

Affordable Beauty Finds for Natural Look!

It was never so easy and affordable to get gorgeous. Therefore, it such a steal to have an affordable cosmetic that can prettifies any woman in a natural look. A concealer that can cover your aging skin, a lipstick that can lift up your mood and eyeliner to hide stressed eyes in an instant. Now, something I recently purchased from beauty drugstore, without breaking the bank. *winks*

Here are some of my picks that are less than $25 for a natural look.

Left: LA Colors Wet to Dry Concealer, Right: AVON Lipstick in Kicked Up Coral & elf eyeliner

For face: LA Colors Wet to Dry Concelear
Pros: Light weight opaque coverage in a creamy, perfect for all skin types, natural looking-coverage, two available shades (light, medium) cheap at only P150, locally-available
Cons: Coverage that still visible of blemishes, lasted only for three hours
Recommendations: Looking for a concealer that affordable? LA Colors Wet to Dry is on the go, but it doesn’t feel kind of heavy. It has a decent coverage but still need to settle in your line like around the eyes and under the lips. I don’t mind to use it again; I would use it as an eyeshadow primer, instead.

For eyes: ELF Liquid Eyeliner
Pros: Smudge-proof liquid liner, fine tip brush creates easily defined and precise lines, dries super fast, seven varieties of colors, locally-available
Cons: 5ml for only P150
Recommendations: if you are fond of liquid eyeliner that won’t hurt your wallet, this is something you want to include in your make up bag. I like how it glides smoothly and lasted till going out

For Lips: AVON Ultra Color Rich (Kicked up Coral) #C401
Pros: Creamy color and defined lips, with SPF 15, locally-available, got it at 299P but originally cost at 499P, love the watermelon scent
Cons: The glitters are quite obvious, classic packaging (fat and round tubes, but the product inside is not as wide)
Recommendations: The Avon Ultra Color Rich Mega Impact lipstick has seven varieties of vibrant shades THAT’S why I only got kicked coral for a natural look. If you want to try vibrant lipstick, but not frightening, then this one is for you, if you like applying gloss after your lipstick, then this line saves you that tiresome route.

Did I achieve the natural look with my affordable beauty finds?
So what so you think? Will you be trying this line?

Sample Room Haul!

I have been convenient through online shopping.  It really helps me to managed my time. Infact, I can’t count on the fingers, on how many times I bought thru onlines in a month. Sometimes, it was just stocked and I have to give it to those who interested among my family members, before it hits the expiry. Anyway, there’s nothing here was expensive, all were drugstore items that I got from sample room. I guess everybody was known about it. The best way of trying new products is through sampling. *winks*

Again, as I always have haul posts, this is not to brag or show off what I got. Instead, consider it as a menu sort. Please tell me if you have tried it.
Let's synchronized from newest to oldest;

Carbtrim Iced Tea and OraCare Merrymint Mouthrinse
If you asked me if I lose weight after drinking this, No! Because I would be definitely losing weight if I was under stress and not enough sleep lately, meanwhile, I gave it to all my colleague friends who are undertaking calorie counts. (I am supporter of Project Body 2013!) Only Oracare Mouthrinse I optimized coz it does deep cleansing. If there is such thing as facial deep cleansing, then this is the one for mouth. *winks*

the miracle tree
The Malungay Facial Toner is for every type of skin. Great because it deeply nourish your skin while it was oisturizing becuase of the active content of  Omega from sunflower oil. It also high in anti-oxidants with the help of Olive Oil and ofcourse the Wonder Tree, Malunggay which delivers 90 nutritional vitamins. so bongga, diba!? I gave it to my sister who has a  sensitive skin, eventually her breakouts gradually lost with the help of malunggay herbal soap.

When I first embraced the world of motherhood, I am so excited to acquire clothes for the princess that will match to me. I have many online shops that sell mommy/daughter outfit, but the first time we did it, I forgot to have it photo because we went to my hometown, so I missed my family, excitements prevailed to see my family than to have a photo shoot, but next time we wear the matchy look, will definitely grab the camera.*winks*

Tuesday Tip: How to apply blush according to your face shape?

Before I joined pageants, I never masterpiece on what’s and how much make up should be put in your face to be consider as natural but classy and to be called as beauty queen, until I discover the issue from Glamour last January 2009. I like the article about blush, since I am no guru in cosmetics; I only depend on my handler. What interested me was there are ways to apply blushes according to your face shape-who knew? Here’s what I got from their tips, as taught by make up artist Nick Barose.

which mine?

Blush for Square Face shapes: To do this, put on blush in small circles, focusing more on the apples of your cheeks. (The apple your cheeks are the fleshy bits that stick out when you smile) In addition to, blush applied toward the hairline, below cheekbone and straight back toward the ears. This will soften the angel of the face.
Blush for Long/Heart Face shapes: Balance out the length in your face by applying your blush across your cheeks in a horizontal direction. Remember to blend it out to avoid the “war paint” look. In addition to, apply blush right below the apples, toward the ear.

Blush for Oval Face Shapes: Sweep color towards your templates. Think of the Nike “swoosh” logo. In addition to, application made along the cheekbone since oval faces are the most even shape. This will give a more lifted look.

Blush for Round Face shapes: Add definition by applying your blush at 45-degree angle-basically follows the outline of your cheekbones. In addition to, AVOID applying blush directly on the apples, instead, blush up to hairline. This will highlight and lift the cheekbone.

Hope these tip have helped-they’ve help me greatly. It seems I don’t need to go to a salon or makeup artist if I just want to have a make up that done by me. I would be proud of course. What do you think with my looks above? Did it hit my round shape face? Do you blush in a particular way? Any tips?

Review: Vintage Rose Lipstick from CollectionPh!

Who here is a fan of SM’s store? Ever went to three day sale of SM Aura? What sold you? Satisfied or Dismayed? You know how much I love SM’s department store. There, I see the beautiful but affordable items especially the kids section. This store closest to me has led to buy new pieces for my little girl. I never dig up the items on the first day they sale, what’s the matter to me was the time with the patootie that extra pep to wander the mall, and the time with the family. So I, when I am with Amber. I love to spend every penny I have. You know when you have your girl-mini version; it gives you excitement to shop, and to clothe her like your big doll. What I’ve only got for myself was the brown belt, new set of earrings and the affordable lipstick I am using now. Can we proceed to the lipstick which I’m talking about please?

I would like to see the expensive discounted cosmetics but I don’t want to rush in the huddle volume in stall, what I did was, went to the booth without too customers and mostly ignored by most. *winks* I went to the booth of Collection Ph, because I suddenly thought of Camille Co eh. Haha. I tried their lipstick collection and in three lipsticks I used, Vintage Rose suits what I has been looking for. I do not have this color. So I take one for a test quality.

Long lasting lipstick that locks in color, enriched with SPF15, Soft and smooth formula

Overview
Collection Cosmetics is an affordable make up hailing from the UK. This affordable lipstick only costs at I99P which has 11 shades. They have quite number of products available from eye shadows to lipsticks. Since this is a new brand to me, I decided to try one of their Lasting Color Lipsticks which I got the Vintage Rose 13. I am not sure if where other stores you may acquire this but I got mine from SM Aura.

Packaging
It was a classic lipstick that you may twist up and down that is well-built, the metallic paint above is actually fading so there’s nothing unique impressive, but I like color pink, and black.:)

Scent and Pigmentation
It has a sweet scent but tolerable.
I choose Vintage Rose shade because it’s creamy rose pink that’s great for work and outdoors- (romantic dates) in essence to channel girly vibes. Its creamy formula has a little bit of shine but not glittery in any way.

Consistency and Longevity
I glide it once, so I am amazed with its color payoff. It lasts on me for about four hours and I had to reapply after eating.

Overall Rating?
For the price, color payoff and formula, I will definitely repurchase and try other shades. Collection Lipstick is a great finds especially if you’re a makeup newbie like me, since these won’t hurt your wallet. You must try it if you are lipstick addict!
