25^th December is an important event to every Christians who believes in our almighty God. I do. My family always celebrates Christmas with love and excitement. The Christmas decors everywhere, the caroling at night and the morning airs simply reminds glow of Christmas to me. Did you feel same way too? Above, are few reasons to celebrate #MerrySMChristmas, what more to complete the joyful? I love shopping for kids. I usually did shopping for my nephews, nieces and goddaughters/sons in SM Department store because you can see all the things that I prefer for. I rather give those toys or clothes, because I want them to remember Christmas in what they have and to learn by heart that #MerrySMChristmas is for sharing and giving. From SM Woman to Men’s’ Section, from kid’s accessories to my bling, my shopping list for my Christmas was completely there. How can you not go there if all stuffs I’m looking for was already there? I almost there, even it’s not Christmas. From the gift check I've received from my previous work, that I can used to any SM stores, to the decors, facilities and the accommodation of the services. Five Things

As I bubbly enjoyed every posts made by Emily Schuman and since I enjoyed each life by little things that I can shared or vividly treasured as it is. Here’s my first week of five things that happened on me last week.

Colour Collection Lip Perfection Lipstick with Argan Oil

A woman can never have enough lipsticks whether it can damage your finances or hogging all affordable hues. I was lucky I’ve got the latter. I was lucky to have certain points to get the latest items from SampleRoom.  I was using different lipstick and I got to experiment to take off Colour Collection Lipstick with Argan Oil. Since I do believe in supremacy of argan oil which entails for “secret” to beautiful youthful skin, I gave a try!

I actually used Colour Collection a while ago. So it’s tempting to try these new collections. On the left of my cache is the Colour Collection Lipstick in Bella which is bright pink and my “on-the-go” lipstick. I just prefer using it matching with eyeliner and mascara and I am good to go. On the right corner is color Crema, which is a lovely nude and it feels like a lipbalm than a lipstick, but after two swipes I made, it looks so nude and pink-ish on me. What I love about the product?  It helps my chapped lips moisturized and I get it for only 100 (as shipping cost from sampleroom) so it’s such a steal! Right?

Pros? Affordable at P399, no unpleasant scent while it lasted 3-4 hours, has argan oil that known for vitamin E and F that essential skin elasticity

Cons? The only I think to be improved by Tupperware brand (where you can purchase the product) is the packaging.

My Airbnb Travel Bucket Wish List!

“Don’t tell me how educated you are, tell me how much you have travelled”-Mohammed

I was argue with myself with the sayings, (maybe, not just me) particularly with those who have not travel more. Though, it was listed as Top 50 Inspirational Travel Quotes. It is patent nonsense, but through this line, I keep myself dreaming that someday I could travel more than I could do.

I’ve always enjoyed traveling and having experience with different cultures and different people. But it’s also a wonderful thing to be able to benefit and enable to research not in only in our country but around the world, that’s why I make this #MyAirbnbBucketList.

1.       Hongkong, DisneyLand

I guess everybody wants to be in Disneyland whatever age you are. It always amusing how the theme park built to a magnificent one. I want to bring my family here and take all the rides and visit the whole entire happy place.

2.        Bali, Indonesia

Bali is a small island in Indonesia but it was a popular destinations. They’ve said it was synonyms to heaven. Who wouldn’t love to relax in a towering volcanoes wrapped in a deep green canopy and sandy shores that slide into turquoise water? Alright, my family’s dream!

3.       Maldives

  If Bali is a dreamland, Maldives Island is indeed addicting. The serenity of modern amenities and the luxury of beaches won’t take your holiday break. I imagine how my family will enjoy the activities and may nephews/nieces at children’s pools. 

4.       Madrid, Spain

  Prado Museum, Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, Buen Retiro Park  and Campo Del Moro Gardens are just few of historical places in Madrid that I want to see. I love the decorative arts in their museums and bohemian culture of the city. I love wandering the churches of the largest city, with family, and to have a good photo opt maybe?

5.       Boracay, Philippines

Apparently, I don’t chance to go to this beautiful place of “sariling atin” If I were given an option to be in this paradise, I wanted to spend and experience it  with family again. I guess this is perfect!  A place where caters travel and leisure together with your loved-ones.

How to do a staycation?

Needs a break but don’t have budget? I truly enjoyed my three days vacation at Baler, Aurora this year, but I am planning more to my birthday month. Would I need to save more to splurge on a luxuries hotel? Waiting for special discounted travels?  Instead, I have to set an alternative substitute to do a “staycation” in a cheaper ways.  Try this little escapes that can help stave off your burnout.

1 . Take a nap. Since I’m a homebody, why not taking nap on weekends? Two days can energized you, BUT be sure you turn off your phone and computers. Remember, you are taking your vacation, without stressful extension of everything you do in a regular life.

2. Host a potluck or barbeque. I love simple gatherings. One of my to-do-list is a family salu-salo. I just need to ask them to bring something to share on. It a simple strategy to embarks your time by catching up with them.

3. Go biking. When I was young, no days I was never riding in my bike. It was such a fun things to do within your city. It simply lessens your worries.

4.  Have a movie marathon. Yes I usually do it whenever I need a break. I cook a popcorn and tadah, sit on a couch why enjoying the movies.

5. Spend time with the family and kids. There’ no such precious time when you spend it with your loved ones. Talking, laughing and reminiscing is good ways of staycation. Staycation is a fancy term of spending of your time off at home. It doesn’t need to be in expensive airline tickets or food. Colour Collection Satin Lipstick +Nail Polishes

As I dig up my first lipstick from Colour Collection, I am meddled with other types of finishes of the brand-the satin. It was surprising when I discovered a year ago that I have left more extra gift that I gave away last holidays. I hoarded some Colour Collection Satin Lipstick that comes in a box with nail polishes that only cost for P349. Yeah I know it was such a steal. Who wouldn’t love to receive a lipstick and nail polishes in a box? The only challenging was the color-if it will suit you. You better know what’s will go well with the person whom you giving.:)

What lipstick in tuck with me now? Colour Collection Satin Lipstick in Amber and Magenta. Please note that I almost get used “Amber” (not because it’s my little girl’s name) cos of it’s kinda peach-coral lipstick that best for morena skin. Isn’t obvious for overused?

Anyway, I just trying to love the other color one, Magenta-which I know has many same dupe to other brands but these Satin Lipsticks are formulated with vitamin E, making your lips look moisturized and supple even after the color wears off. It has a sunscreen that protects your lips form the sun.

Pros? Affordable (P349) at 4g of product, great pigmentation even it was satin cos it lasted at 3-4 hours, no unpleasant scent and it has vitamin E that moisturized lips

Cons? Easy to broke, not widely available-only at Tupperware Brands dealers.

Bite-Sized Beauty I Have!

These mini sized beauty items are sort of my beauty boxes and gifts I’ve received in my birthday last year. We sometimes don’t want to splash out on products without testing it before we tend to buy it., right? Good thing, there’s a lot beauty boxes that offer samples to test the product beforehand. I bought last year the BDJ box and to my surprise, I got the OPI Nail Polish in there. I never tried any orange nail polish in my entire life, so this pushes me to try new colors in my nail polishes bucket.

I also got the Bifesta Age Care Cleansing Lotion from sampleroom. I registered for it for preferred sample items that I want to try. Meanwhile there are also counters that will give you a tiny sample if you ask but 4 out of 10, they does not, without purchasing full akin products. Will post the review of this product as soon as I have time. (again!)

A place to try some travel sized beauty is online shopping. I had this seller for long time ago. I almost buy all the colors of Color Collection Vitamin Lipstick (except the red!) as my Christmas present to my friends, so no wonder I got the Color Collection Lipstick in Red for free. As much I go for coral shade lipstick, will definitely try this as one of the highlight events in this year. For Valentine’s Day? Soo red!

Last bite-sized beauty I have was the AVON Simply Pretty Mini Eyeliners in Amber and Amethyst, that I purchased last year together with perfect-match AVON Skin Goodness BB Cream and AVON Concealer Stick in F201 . The colors (amber & amethyst) was ideal for Holiday so I wore it last ChristmasJ It’s not quite clear so I guess you can use it as everyday make up. Just doesn’t work on me.

I was only discover it and downloaded it since I am a movie goers.  In fact, I was excited for “Blended” a romance comedy I guess; starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler (just like 50 First Dates huh)

New Skincare Purchase and Tested!

I never had a chance to tried Olay products since it has appeared in the Philippines cos (1) I had  a loyal treat to my skincare (2) I am afraid of breakouts to try new (3) it is too pricey UNTIL I received it as gift and  discovered how this thing can affect the benefits it promises. What exactly does it promise? Well, let me tell you folks what’s printed on the packaging:

As I tried this Olay Cleansing Foam and Olay anti-ageing+ fairness cream for just two weeks, I consider it as affective regimen on me. The dark spots and pores reduce while it gives a moisturisation on my skin. Good thing it has SPF 15 too. I am brave enough to fight the scorching sun!:)

Personally, I feel the changes in my skin now, IDK if it’s ageing process so I’d spend a time to pamper it. I choose my routine from cleansing, toning and moisturizing to hydrate my skin and back to blemish free.

This opportunity to try Olay Total Effects in Olay Cleansing Foam and Olay Anti Ageing +Fairness Cream (that is) right now that formulated for women aged in their late 20s to early 40s. (I’m not sure if there’s any truth in it (P&G can verify it if they can) but I guess it’s due to the benefits which make it more suitable for aged skin.

Anyway, I like the packaging of both. I also like the dispenser which gives a control amount of foam and cream to be dispensed. Scent smells faintly like talc-y paste but it’s not too overpowing. Texture of the formulation is slightly greasy moisture. Olay fairness cream takes a minute or two before skin absorbs it, leaving skin very slightly greasy but soft and supple. Will update this post once I consumed the both bottle. But I hope my initial thoughts will serve as a partner of my skin in my entire life. Meanwhile, if any of you folks have tried (or currently using ) Total Effects, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Also, if you’ve got particular points you wish me to look into, feel free to leave them below.

On Hand Care: Etude House Milk Mini Jam Jam Hand Lotion

Hi folks! What are you doing so far? Meh? Been busy organizing my online shop. please, please visit if you're free.*winks* Another hands on work so I need some hand-care literally and figuratively. Aside from nail polishes and hand-spa, hand lotion is one of my routine. Glad I have another Etude House Mini Jam Jam Hand  in Milk. So smells like milk and bit sticky? Hmmm..as you recall, I tried first their Strawberry Hand Lotion and I could  just say I like it!

However this hand lotion in milk doesn’t give a milk aroma, instead it has a powder scent and steamed milk fragrance. I love how it’s very handy that you can bring wherever you go.

I like the packaging and the size of the tube that you can plump it controllable. This lotion moisturizes my hands without leaving a greasy feel. It’s very lightweight on the skin and lasted for 2-3 hours. So if you are in cold areas, you most probably re-apply it.

So far, this one is my recently partner in drought days. Will try the (2) left versions-Citrus and Walnut come to me!:)

Something Interesting with Pantone Color of the Year 2014!

So it’s already announced that the color for 2014 was pastel colors? The Radiant Orchid specifically. What a coincidence, indeed! Before I’ve learned about the pantone color of the year, the KingDadiBoo and I were planning about our little girl’s room to have changed it color, we have plan it to be colour amethyst, or something purple-ish because of her birthstone. When I heard the Radiant Orchid, what jumped me from the couch I sit was this kind of imagination;

Really that glamorous room! why not? Could I include Dora the explorer on this room? Hehe since she almost know her. She began to love her and she did "Hola" when she heard the little spanish girl.:) 

What also came into my mind was the lipstick I wanted to buy, the Mac Lipstick Amp. Yeah it is! My loveyboy once ask me if what shade of lipstick I wish for then  I blurted this. Ay! utang pa pala ito, it's time to make singil na! Hehehe

Actually, I wanted the Mac Lipstick Rebel to try but I almost have replica of this from Colour Collection in Magenta shade. Oh, I forgot to review some lippies from CC.If time permits me, I will. Promise! But I like the uniqueness of this lavender/violet color of this one. This is something uncommon that will be an statement with a neutral eye.:) But don't match with this kind of fashion, it's too overrated. lol
