Super Cute Alert: Nails Inc.& the Elephant!

Last Friday, we had our Christmas party. Down to office workloads and wound up for activities. My colleague friends also make a “Christmas-Kringles” which suprisingly my “baby” is a closest friend of mine. So I dont have hard times for what gift I would give to her. I mean, she'd have to buy the stuff that we saw in the bazaar we went. Now, I knew what gift could please her. :)Wohoo!

What I bought for her is a floral elephant from a bazaar.

Isn't it cute right?

Our party this year was not better-off than before, but we enjoyed the games that every year was different. Thanks to Tito G who always organizes this event. Our food was very appetizing; hence, I wasn’t able to capture all those delicious food and red wines as well. Oh I love the Conti's Black Velvet Cake! (winks)

I'm sure we’d lessen-out all the tired-works and pressure from the bosses. Hehe...Aand we are agitated to open gifts and giving gifts to others. I had a lot of goodies received, but still, it's better to give than to receive. Skincare and beauty goodies as well as useful things. And the best was …. a nail polish from Sephora that I will try soon. This colleagues friend of mine really knows what I’ve like most, which I fascinated.

diba they're so cute?
I’m weird, cray cray for those little things. LITTLE THINGS on life that counts. What little things that you like most?

Swatches: Faceshop Nail Polishes

Hello beautiful folks! You probably noticed that I’ve been pause for my nail collection, so for today, I’m going to share you my latest fave in nail polishes! It was given by my boy-friend, when he had trip in Korea, my male best buddy knew me that I simply love nail polishes. So what’s on my snake skin table? A hunt for some decent, reasonably-priced and good quality nail polishes!
I know it was not easy to list brands which I tried and were disappointed in, so I’m just going to share what I love right now? Okay? Let’s proceed?
The brand is none other than-The Faceshop! Almost half of my digits were under of their brand. It was nice that I could get new and latest from the brand since Korea is just near and one of the countries that has a bilateral trade with our country. So some perks of being in the international bureau, noh!?
Anyhow, here are some of my pasalubong..*eyes sparkle*

So here's my new little babies:)

The Face Shop Nail Polishes

I must say I was surprised when I opened the paper bag; I was utterly wanted to use them because I honestly fancy the colors and try the expectations because it was cheaper than I used on my birthday nails.

So let’s begin with the colors:

first color batch I've tried (apology for low quality pixels)

What I love? Colors are opaque, They are not skimpy like some others I tried, the first coat was thick already but I used two coat for this finish. Prices are super affordable at $2.99 per bottle. It was easy to apply, my nail technician loves it because it quite smooth, but a little bit clumpy.

What I don’t like? The smell and the drying rate. It was stinky smell of chemical and took hours to dry. Its brush was too small and narrow.

Okay will post soon the other two colours that I never used. I doubted in the last color (brown) which shades of my skin are. Don’t you think? Have you tried this palette of polishes?

Almay, The One Coat Nail Polish!

The plan we have doesn’t ensue from the sudden rain one afternoon. It’s a heartbreaking for the little girl but I created the weekend hours in a cheerful play and have the usual Sunday routine a.k.a mani / pedi treat. You know, how much nail polish relieved the stress from work and of course how’s the younger version of me, to be somewhat like me. My “NOTD” for the day is my new discovery of a new inexpensive nail line named Almay, the one coat nail polish!

This brand name was just before my hearing. I have to googled up just to know about the brand’s background. Thanks to google for being omniscient. Haha. I should know, but perhaps it was an American brand that can be seen on ebays and other US online shop. The product can buy at $7.99 or less than 350P.

Typical thing for one of my obsession and possession which I received mine as gift with an OPI included which I will be blog soon. *happy dance*  My Almay color was #26, Sheer Twilight. What I like about this brand is the noteworthy of its tag line. One coat of this streak was light and easy to dry, so I requested to done it with two coats for more highlight.

This Sheer Twilight polish was one of the rare colors of Almay brand. This product is hypo- allergenic and one more strange was the plastic locked that has been attached where the content of polish was wrote. Only the stinky smell of the chemical used, was the annoying.

Some added facts: Almay established in 1930 that offers skincare and cosmetics line. It was the FIRST hypo-allergenic brand.

* peg from Hi-5 *
Meanwhile, the little girl beside me, got an idea from her current favorite show, Hi-5 to make it colorful Sunday treat. *Like mommy. Like daughter.:)

That’s the blast of my Sunday treat, what yours?
Have you ever try Almay brand? Share your thoughts pleaseJ

Review: L.A Colors, Color Craze Nail Polish!

If you would know how much I fascinated nail polish, call me crazy but forgive me, this is one of my guilty pleasure, but don’t worry, I keep calm and polish moderately.:)
Say hello to my LA Colors: Color Nail Polish- it’s my new go to nail color!:)

I bought these babies at Lazada. It costs 250P for three, it is much cheaper when I buy it for single purchase at ATC. It also cheaper compared to OPI, Orly, and Essie etc. which range 400-600P!

There are many choices you could pick in the store, but I bought these pack, because I was looking for another collection that may add to my addiction. Happy dance here.:)

The first shade I tried was called Live. I immediately fell in love with it since I was looking for a silver grayish color like platinum. The application, the color and although it chips faster than OPI, it doesn’t bother me since I like to recolor my nails every three days or weekend.

So as usual I post it in my instagram:)

Live (2 coats)
The second shade was Force. A semi-orange but still looks rust! Obviously, it has glitter so it’s not opaque as the Faceshop gold polish I’ve tried

Force (2 coats)
The latter was Blue Lagoon. I like color blue, but this one was different. It’s something dark blue that reminds me of Butter London's nail polish in Big Smoke Nail Lacquer. This is by far my favorite of them all since blue symbolizes stable and calm feeling.:)

Blue Lagoon (2 coats) with one coat of Colorless

My Overall Thoughts

I think I’m going to add this nail polish to my addiction. I will replace it for purchasing OPI, more cheaper. They’re almost same quality, but LA Colors chips faster, though. The application is very smooth, no streaks compared to the Faceshop’s nail lacquers. I just love this! I have more 69 colors to choose. Isn’t it exciting? And maybe I would try their new collection, the Flash POP polish.:)

Happy weekend! Love!
