Last Summer Maybe!

This was the last day of the month! Ang bilis noh!?,Hindi ko man lang namalayan. Summer break was totally done. Parents are busy for preparing their kids for school. It’s been a quite last minute for getaways, movie marathon, and slumber party with friends.

Meanwhile, I was trying to compile all my photos that were happened along the summer. It’s been thrice in a row since I had my Summer destinations. So far, my favorite was my La Union trip. It was a nice and fun trip. A getaways wherein the sea and sun take away all the stress we’ve worked. Haha. Try to invade Ohms on the Go for more photodiary. :) But of course I had my first family trip in a Special day. As everyone’s cliché, No one can buy the happiness that we have with the FAMILY you have. Though heat and traffic, it was such a memorable and the happiest one. Right?

As May is coming to a close, why not look back at what your trips/activities? so what’s your favorite? And start our June weekend with open arms, another adventure and let’s just enjoy the ride!

Massive May Haul!

Hi lovelies! I know, it has been a long time since I did a haul. Does apology accepted here?:)

This was actually unplanned and I over think of this cause some of you might get unfamiliar.

Anyways, I decided to ordered things at Lazada.com with some of their discounted essentials.

While I was busy drafting a memo in my daily routine, Lazada send me an email that some of their items were on sale. So I browse and I do not pass up to fill up my cart. Hehe.

It’s been a month since I got my OPI, so it’s time to add a new stuff in my nail box. Hehe. Forgive me please? (Eto' ang pampatanggal ko ng stress aside from shoes.) Who knows, I might build a Nailaholic Section or could franchise the Posh Nails. Lol Mind you, it’s just P250 for three so, I’ve grabbed it.

May Fair Retouched Stretchmark and Wrinkle Reducing Cream 100ml

2 years ago, since I knew it and introduced by my good-looking tita. (May ganun talaga!) I'm looking for this for so long but I rarely see it, you will not even see it on drugstore, like Watsons and online stores so I’m glad it was on Lazada. So “think before click” was not happened to me that time. Spending P132 for dual purpose is a massive.

I am totally sold out to this product! The think before click took place on me. I was reading back some reviews and post about it. I bought it not for myself but for my tsongdudeparengbro , (You know, I had four brothers) pero di po ako tomboy. Hahaha. I just want to help my brother’s face problem, as he reached his highschool stage, he was starting to have acne, blackheads and pimple, so I am his personal dermatologist. (That’s one of career ambition!) So I am practicing it now.Hahaha. Will review it soon if P188 would have its potential!

I am not into whitening talaga, I love my brownish color and embraced it as my asset. Lol

Seriously, this was the first time I’ll try a uncommon brand, with a good reviews. When I was in La Union kase, I was became dark even I applied sun blocks with higher SPS. I did surfing and swimming. Ang sarap kasi eh! Feeling professional surfer lang!, kaya hindi ko talaga tinigilan until I learned how to surf. And because of this, I pursue to back my skin color. Besides summer is the best season to chill and pamper. That was P275 and P329 respectively.

Review: Whitening Anti-perspirant Deodorant from Belo Essentials

There are many women out there who afraid to expose their underarms freely because of imperfections. It’s in reality that many people had their flaws and celebrities too. Good thing, there’s a NEW line attested by Belo Essentials in whitening, anti-perspirant deodorants. It was dubbed as “Belo Beauty Deo”.

These deo line was released sometime in 2012 and comes with two variants (1) roll on; a 40 ML or 25ML and (2) aerosol spray, so unique diba?, this was the newest variant that released early this year. This product doesn’t only meant for whitening or lighten underarms, but as promised, it solve all FIVE problems such as (1) dark (2) sweaty (3) rough (4) redness (5) chicken skin, that not easy to reacts.

Prior to the product description, it was for:

• Expertly formulated to control darkening beofre it starts
• Minimizes pores and soothes skin from plucking and shaving
• Hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested

To be honest, believe it or not, I have no problem actually with my armpits, its just I felt rough sometimes just after done plucking, the rest, I'm okay with its color, not just black, nor white, as long as it must be equal to color of your skin (according to my social English teacher) LoL.

Meanwhile, I was sold at "Minimizes pores and soothes skin from plucking and shaving", so I tried this for one week. Hence, it was reviewed now by the Queen. Hehe.

I personally prefer the aerosol spray because I’ve never been a big fan of roll-ons as they always either stain on my clothes and take forever to dry. I just want to keep my arms dry atleast five minutes to wait as much as possible. And so after giving a test run, here’s what I’ve noticed;

It makes more lightening, it’s more slightly to see the slight change

The hair was much softer; hence, it’s not rough like before

I don’t sweat the whole day even in the midst of burning hot summer. The product claims “24 hour protection” but I have yet to attest this claim. I highly doubt if its can hold up to long since I’m not sweat easily, Does anybody here can confirm? Hehe.

PROS?

This product doesn’t stain clothing and pocket friendly. I like how it lightens slightly more my underarms and made them smoother, it even controls my sweat and thus, the King want to live with it. Haha.

CONS

The aerosol can leave you a patch on your underarms if you spray too close/or too much, while the roll-on took some time to dry properly

MY FINAL VERDICT?

Will repurchase, I love how the product works on me.

Price: 1/5 (25 ml cost  P49 while 140ml cost to be edited)

Thursday Talk: On Insecurity

Most people experienced some insecurity with themselves. They say, its normal but how this feeling affect ones mind when you in yourselves felt doubt?

To vary the rumor today, and because trending ang  #Talkthursday, gusto ko lang ding maki-uso, pero seriously, timing lang ito when I was earlier going to office. While sitting in our small vehicle Ducati :D and blocking the gigantic buildings, suddenly came across my mind, medyo may pagka-weird lang,… that how would it be like if you are the owner of one of those? Where would be I am now? Is my confidence was strong as tsunami? Or shall I be one of the beautiful faces of some Hollywood stars?

But no,  twas’ not my level of such insecurities. As I faced my position now, I just wanted to finish things that I don’t, the obligation that I didn’t made. In short, I owe my loved ones. Some of the promises I break, and hard to deal in many miles.

Sometimes I wonder if I can do everything else while I was into aging, Haha. And yet life is so short. (Oh pressure, diba?)

Just like Marilyn Monroe, I also felt it, who would be not? When I was competing in a beauty pageant, I was nervous, when I talked to break my first boyfriend, I also felt a doubt. In today's election? Are you sure? Will they do their list of promises? Was Nancy Binay also felt a little insecure? On her background? and does complexion matters? Some are mocked her, but what happened? She hit the top 6, and she’d won.

I know many were insecure about their physical appearance, within relationships, around the corner of your field/job,or something that makes you fear. To understand insecurity, its something lack of confidence and drivens by self-pity. In my practice, I've also find insecurity in fear-of loss of not being good enough, on having to depend on oneself. But it is in our hand how to handle those insecurity. Bear in mind that Insecurity robs our life and relationships of zest,(I read it in an article) and I wanted to share this positive thought on how to cope with insecurities;

And I contributed to the percentage of those who did not vote? Not because I do not want huddling with thousands of people who wanted to vote, but because I was tired of my two days wandering in the province of Quezon with my family.
This is the first time I didn't participated in this type of opportunity.( I was employed in a government and yet I can't, shame on me!?)

Weekend Escapades: Mother's Special Treat!

I am here at the beach, with my princess, playing with the sand and the waves of the sea. This is the first out of town with my royal family so far.Though it's sad because it also the first-ever not along with my mother and I want her to know how much I love her. I want to gave my presence and I want her to know how she has been my biggest influence in life and part of the reason why I am here.Maybe I could catch up as soon as I come back to Manila.

Anyways, I am here at Unisan, Quezon, far away from pollution of Manila. If you could see me now, I am more relaxed and enjoyed chilling with my family and some mommies to celebrate the day too.We were surrounded by virgin sea, tall trees and white sand and delicious food on the table.

and it's a good good day!

 This peaceful place is filled with the laughter of children here today. The mommies were singing in a videoke and daddies were dancing and drinking too.

Thursday Thrift: Colorfull Color Stain Lipstick for Less!

Hi folks! I know, I deserted this blog, I'm just pretty busy in career and life. Hehehe and busy managing my skin color, I become so tanned eh, because of the tyranny of my summer 2013 and probably will become dark since I have my two summer destinations pa.teehee! Atleast boredom will not visit me anymore. Hehe. I've been in La Union last two weeka with my colleagues friends. As we enjoyed the sand and the beach, we've also tried surfing!Yey! One of our bucket list was done. And kamusta naman ang kulay ko?Tama na ang feeling Maja Salvador. hehe

Anyways, the day I came back from La Union, I received some lipstick. Three colors exactly. I get nosy since I’m not into bright colors, and nude lippies are my fancy.

Here’s my indicative review:

PROS?

A local brand that came in a standard tube, a predominant color when you tried to search in your make up kit. A pocket-friendly that suits for $2 only. It is creamy and glides easily. A semi-matte finished-look while scented free. It has the power to lasts up to 5 hours. (I put mine from 8AM and lasts til’ 12nn) Nine shades to select.

CONS?

This brand is rare, so it’s hard to find elsewhere. A matte lipstick and makes the line of the lips visible. A little dry feeling that may stain your clothes.You wait for five minutes for color to set.

MY FINAL VERDICT?

As I tried it a while ago, it could be an alternate with your matte lipstick collection. It is great for summer but I feel the dryness after an hour. It takes me to put lip balm to moisturize.

MY NOTES?

Try to place it on the refrigerator at night, then use in the morning to see the opaque and satin finish. You can put lipgloss for glossy effects and you can use fingers to dab the products on your lips for a natural finish look.  You can try other shades, (Russian Red, Red Voltage, Marveloue Pink, Magenta Mania, Pillow Pink and Pecan Fudge.)

When I was a young girl, I always had my notes. I used to do some poems about life and love. Kinda' boring, pero I was enjoying writing poems and songs. I just stopped it when  I reached my twenties, (somewhat I had my special interest)

I'm just a composer who had passion who writes for somebody and I think I've learned by listening certain music. This is gradually working with my guitar and led me to feel the song.
